Update on mine - got a letter from Warwick County - offering a safety awareness course - 0 points, but the £60 fine - result!

thought that would happen tbh bud seeing as yours was marginal. only 7mph over wasnt it???

you just have to watch safety videos, shuffle pics of injured kids and generally look at your shoes and pretend you are sorry and wont do it again.
you usually have to pay for the course but saves on insurance in the long run.
they do a similar course now for going thru red lights.
