Silverstorm 12 Months on

So the Brakes got serviced, I'm glad I did them last year and I'm gonna do em every year !!
only 1 sticky piston so just a clean up and bled the system, cant harm putting fresh
fluid in, easy as well (and not expensive)

The fairing got reassembled and I'm quite pleased the freshly painted headlight surround nearly matches !!
Its still a pain to get it all assembled, trying not to brake lugs off or crack anything !
Easy to fit on the bike though

Front and back mudguards fitted, and fitted rear footrests, but lost one of the little ball bearings
so its a trip to the ball bearing shop for me tomorrow !




Also got to re bleed the clutch tomorrow.

Apart from my continual struggle lining up the exhaust and an oil change that's me pretty much done for now

Brake and clutch fluid if hygroscopic so attracts water and moisture etc. Its a good job always to replace the fluid at least every 2 years. simple job just keep topping up and bleed through until clear.

Good to know you've heard of him via Steve97 even if it was a while ago
It just seemed a bit odd after him being on here a lot and being so passionate about his bike, then nothing.

Don't really know whats happened to Kev,
he was down to go to Wales last year but pulled out due to new girlfriend being ill and having important operation,
i miss him being around, but hey, life moves on

Met him a few years ago in wales was a nice fella and ady another one who doesn’t come on anymore but as you say Steve life moves on and so quick at times.

Hi everyone, I'm still about,had a busy 12 months or so, don't get out so much at the moment, girlfriends had two operations and been in a wheelchair for over 6 months, so my time is taken up !!
Was gonna sell the storm but weren't gonna make any money on a mongrel so I decided to keep her .
Silver has gone Matt black,
Trying to sort out how use Imgur as photo bollox don't work, anyway,
Chinese fairings, Matt black, sprayed the tank meself and it came out ok, fitted an under tray and new Belly pan.
