Re: what bike did you have and let go but would like back
I had the black/purple GSXR750M on a J plate, bought new from Bob Hill motorcycles in Hertford. Kept it for 18 months. Nice bike.

Re: what bike did you have and let go but would like back
i do have fond memories of my Yamaha TR1 a 1000cc twin with an enclosed chain etc, i blew rear head gaskets almost monthly, they were repaired free by Yamaha for almost 2 years, i think it had a stepped head gasket of something. I did love to though. It was the first bike the wife was happy to be on. she hated all the 2 strokes.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

I had a CB750 1994 in perfect condition that was a great all round bike (kept up with Triumph Daytona and a Ducati 748 with a slipping clutch!) but that had to go once it was stolen and recovered as it never felt the same again.
Had a few lost to non-fault accidents too that I miss:
Honda NSR125 2001 (great 2 stroke fun with realiability)
Honda CB600F Hornet 2004 (possibly the best road bike I've had the pleasure of owning/riding)
p.s. I have owned other makes too

That's an easy one for me, my 2006 SJK kitted TZ250. I bought it new and should have kept it and remained it's only ever owner, this was the day it arrived, 1st April 2006!!

Rappelez tout mais ne pardonner rien!!

I have owned nearly 250 bikes since my 16th birthday and there are so many I wished I'd kept.
The two strokes obviously because they are silly money now. My Fireblades, my Z650's. But I really do wish I had kept my old storm:
