What do you mean I'm broken???

Post by Zer0Zer0 »

Hi Guys,

Norma here,

Turns it , its not just a broken collar bone, but he's broke his shoulder blade as well  . At the moment he's tucked up in bed where all the pretty nurses are and he goes under the knife tomorrow afternoon, so they can fix his collar bone (steal plate and a couple of screws). This is to make him more comfortable and stabalise his arm enough to give the shoulder blade a chance to heal. So he will be in PRI until Wednesday at the latest.

Hopefully get the bike back tomorrow, so will post some pictures and you can tell me what you think.

A big thanks to everybody.

Update

Post by Zer0Zer0 »

I'm totally knackered, looking forward to vegging in front of the tele (Kaz, sorry babe will call you tomorrow).

Martin's doing fine. Op went well, he appears to have a bit more stability in his shoulder so I think that was the best option for getting the blade fixed.

Garage have been great. They'll hold onto the bike until next week, at no extra charge (thankful for small mercies).

I'll grab some pics tomorrow of the poor wee soul and post, so you can see what shape he's in.

Take it easy all, will update further tomorrow.

Glad it happened up north, cos if it had been down here I might have ended up looking after him in hospital........can you imagine that, still rather it had not happened at all.
