Looks shiny and quite utilitarian, but not sure it would look good ( might spoil the lines)

cheap caliper upgrade, you'll need to slightly modify the fork legs, it only take 10mins to do. will work best with a cbr600f4i master cylinder...

I'm quite tempted but can't say I'm mad keen about attacking the fork lowers with an angle grinder!!! Do you not risk weakening the calipers mounts?

No risk of weakening, it's in a totally unstressed area and on bikes like the blade, there is no metal there at all.
