i use them tyres they are very good when they are worm ,crap in the cold and dont even think about using them in the wet

i dont really ride in the rain tbh mate - dont have to any more lol.
and even when i do ride in rain i proper take it slow regardless what tyres ive got on!
i was expecting that though as they have even less tread pattern than the supercorsas i have on atm, theyre not the best on wet roads either, not just because of the lack of tread, but because you just cant get any heat into them on a wet road and the compounds dont work.
it's a hard gripping dry tyre i want.
not grumbling at the price i got them for lol

resprayed the damaged bit in situ...

i'll leave it overnight then buff it up tomorrow
tried touching it in with a brush but it looked crap so i just fletted it all again, primed it and resprayed in same 2 pack paint. good as new (i hope!)
fortunately no cracks as the right side fairing is a new panel!

took the storm round the road and got pulled up

luckily he was on a bike so didn't go too hard on me just a very severe embarrassing b**llocking at the roadside for doing 46 in a 40 and pulling away like a rocket, also a warning for rear tyre on the limit, but when he calmed down he said he's had two storms and now has an sp2 and asked how i liked the storm.

Tidied up the hole from the bafflectomy and now looks like nout has been removed. Then went to replace the plugs, didnt take the steering lock off and dropped it on the grass, BUGGER, no damage, result. Though grit in the throttle tube, stripped, cleaned, lubed replaced. Fitted my new Seat cowl, then replaced plugs and cleaned her, ran indoors to get scrubbed up for tonites ride in this scorching weather only to find no fooker is going out

paint is nice & hard now so i peeled off the masking & had a look....
before
after
still a bit of a raised line where the masking tape was - i'll buff it out in the morning then tcut, wax & refit the rubber trim.
thats not a run in the paint near the rad btw its dried dust off the wet n dry!
the finish of the repaired bit is actually better than the rest of the bike lol - good as new.

"I "havent done anything, apart from look through the yawning hole in my wallet after major service, turns out the engine was fine, needed balancing but other than that ,..a ok.Turns out the forks were in a state, never been serviced, hardly any oil, seals were shot to bits,i saw them ..looked like theyd been chewed by a staffy,..crazy how they didnt fail.
Got the rad fan switch installed, works a treat...
All in all im happy with it,bike runs/handles alot better, although a bit stingy... a quality job
Mechanic informed me the cct's had been changed to a manual set a while back, which im pretty pleased about after reading the
scare stories,....
so im thinking if i start to hear a slight rattle i should give them a tweak????......
Cheers.....
