Unless it's had a pampered life anything over 40k is passed its best ,
They start to use oil after that ,not saying all over 40k is passed it as some never use oil .

tool kit, from what I can see it's missing allen keys and a few other minor bits, but the price is good.

Just spotted these...No they aint cheap but as std sets are now getting older & crappier it's something to think about. I recently had a set of standard ones where the front 'clamp' that bolts to the head was so badly rusted it made them unuseable...

They used to trade under Sandy bike spares. They've been mentioned on here a few times over the years. Look good though.

I never knew that Kev.

The headers they used to supply I thought looked very well made, I'm not sure if the ones they're selling now look quite as good, but of course that might just be me
Mind you, if you were desperate for a set I'm sure these would do.

Here's what they used to advertise

BTT what was the quality of the material like? Did they discolour like the stock set?
Chris, If you go to the bottom of the page on the link Mac posted it tells you the history of the company.

Well yes they did discolour, but evenly and not odd like some originals do. They fitted perfectly, after i replaced all the studs on the heads etc as a preventative measure. They seemed to me to be better s/s than the originals i had on. The welding was good too. I offered £199 and got them for that.
