It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

LOL I was thinking the same. OK the coolant hose I could accept as they are on the engine but the choke cables

this got sniped! Anyone on here? I was wondering where the front bolts mount to as I couldn't see anywhere obvious on my subframe. Maybe this version needs some front brackets as well as the normal rear oneagentpineapple wrote:never seen a rentec rack like this before, looks good, but buyer beware it hasn't got the important mounting bracket, without it you will destroy your rear fairing the moment you put weight on it...

Only bike I have seen with that set up is on Kermit that Chris has butchered for a top box, did CK not have it before?
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

I'm in the process of fitting a rack with a Givi top plate. Overall, with postage, it was £101.20 (including postage) but (apart from drilling a couple of holes) it fits perfectly and will allow my Givi top box to clip on when needed.

That's interesting Kev and a good price. They look similar to those expensive German auto tensiners that where designed.
The following has me confused.
We need a set of these to strip apart and investigate. What's inside the rolled bit of metal at the top. They look promising but I would like to see how they adjusts and what's holding it in place.
Clever eBay username that too. The bolts look the right size so it's not Ade in disguise
The following has me confused.
So what are they saying, that the manual tensioners should have the same adjustment that the Auto's had. I'd be interested to see the Illustrated instructions.a stainless steel tool which allows you to remove the original tensioner safely
whilst maintaining it's length which takes a lot of the guess work out of fitting this new tensioner.

They've got a few different adjusters on there for other bikes, so could be worth looking into

Ohlins rear shock £400 bin or Make offer

asking to much imho, chances are it would have to have a new spring to suit the rider, it looks a bit tatty as well. £275 to £325 maybe.Wicky wrote:Ohlins rear shock £400 bin or Make offer

they do transform how the bike handles tho, so it is money well spent.
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)
Considering they are £900 new then not too bad, mine set me back 325 posted. The hydraulic adjuster works too but its missing the knob for it. Nothing an 8mm socket cant solve and also stops scrotes messing with it in carparks. The spring is rated for 160lbs so about 11st, im 13st but i feel it is just perfect for road. I cant help but feel a stiffer spring would be too stiff
