Went to Oulton Park, watched a few races and then decided it was fiddler and not not as good as it used to be so left after first BSB race and went for a ride, don't know where I went arrived home

Then my dad got me to fix my brothers car head lights out, there was about a mug full of water in one if them!

as usual the south east was to full of people going to homebase or b&q, very busy roads, add to that all the lycra clad twats who think they're bradley wiggins and it was rare to find a clear stretch of road. still had fun overtaking people and lots of traffic light grand prix's, i did look like a berk when i stalled my bike leaving ryka's cafe.....
but by far the funniest bit was hearing a yelp and as i turned my head, carl and his bike slowly falling over, loads of people around to see it aswell. the reason he went down was a bag of recycling/rubbish. as he was rolling backwards, his front wheel hit the bag. and they say recycling is a good thing......

Cleaned polished standard exhaust headers .
Dug out pillion hangers and rubbers bolts and started on the standard carbs .
Epoxy'd up two of the three lift holes in the front slide and one in the rear .
Not much more I can do now till the weekend when I order the other bits I need and some carb cleaner .

Went for a big ride at half 10 this morning did a few hundred miles over Yorkshire way with my Dad

kirkby lonsdale, skipton , leyburn, hawes, kendal, up into the lakes and just kept going and going

stopped for a brew at a butty waggon somewhere near Hawes (nice old lady runs it who has a cute little dog on a long lead near a stream), she does a cracking baccon buttie and the brews are good and the price was not a piss take which was nice to see as well!

met a man on a bandit at (i think) at the butty waggon who only had one arm proper cracking guy, brake clutch throttle etc all on his left hand and a strong steering damper fitted

Did a bit of swapping back to back with the RR3 and the K6 the RR3 is a much easier point and squirt bike better suited to the yorkshire roads than the GSXR

Didn't realise how much power the gixxer had till i got back on it tho, bugger me its got some beans when you twist the wrist!

I felt much more confident on the Blade tho pusing in corners than the GSXR and instantly felt 'at home' on it, i wonder if its that front end as im familiar with the blade front

The GSXR is a great ride but feels very flighty in the corner and the bumps really upset it, think i will take it to KAIS up the road and pay them to set it up properly for me

i'll take some pics of the chicken strips on both,

Fast long sweeping bends the GSXR rocks but on the twisty left - rights up in the sticks where you can bank it right over then stand it up and get on the power its hard work on the gixxer neither me nor my dad could crank it over as much as the Blade, might just need setting up feels far too hard sprung right now, noticed today when i took the pillion cover off that the bolts have been replaced with non suzuki ones so suspect the guy's had a pillion grab rail on and had it set up for a pillion onboard fingers crossed having KAIS do the suspension will transform the bike for me

Dont realy want to go to work tonight feels weird going to work when the weather is nice,

it should be illegal in the uk we should make the most of the nice weather when the suns comes out

:eek2 Carbon cans on a big V Twin  I would have expected better from Leo Vince 8O That's the sort of sh1t I would expect from cheap carbon cans. Rather than waste the carbon could you use it for something else. Carbon Christmas tree decorations     or carbon pen pots. cut it down in sections, stick a base on them and you have a pen pot.

Mac Insurance companies are .........Beeeeeep....,, It doesn't matter what anyone elses experience is, they treat everyone and different areas different and make the rules up as they go along. Hope you get it sorted mate.
