Took my eldest daughter for a little 10 mile ride .
She did very well for her first time on a bike :-) so now its time to get the rest of the gear she needs
Gloves and boots .
She loved it and wants to go for a longer ride next time

Heard a strange rasping noise on last leg of operation storm and the way home,

Got home and found this had dropped off, held on by a thread

And you've got a carburettor hanging out the side 8O

I think that panel is held in with push peg things but you could cable tie it back in for now, must have been refitted wrong when the frame brace recall was done.

While your on mate where's best place in North west to take it for a service? Will do only self but want the book stamping so it's still got a full service history, thinking of swapping it for a blade after that opp storm ride,

fantastic for two hours and after that I was in agony with the Rearsets position my legs are bit to long so feels a bit extreme do you know if you can get any adjuster plates to lower them and move them forwards I would defo stick them on if I was to do another all day ride out

You did look like you were. I thought tears were not far behind. Though I can not say anything with my knee having been playing up. Sell that, get a cheap storm and start over

When I got back today I noticed how dirty the bike was:

now she is nice and clean:

And this is why you do not put your side stand down on tarmac that has had the sun on it all day:

What have I done to my bike today.. nothing.. not even had chance to ride it in this lovely weather :( Although I did get to fit new plugs, air filter, brake pads and a tank pad last weekend
Just to damn busy lately.. this bank holiday so far has consisted in me repainting a 7.5 tonne lorry.. 2 days to turn the cab over and tomorrow i gotta freshen up the bed.
