Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
looks ok ck but you need to spend many hours by hand or get a rotory mop on a drill to speed things up .
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I'm glad you said it looks OK. I would not have ranked it any higher. I know I need many more hours I just can not be bothered tonight
Over the course of next week I shall try to get more done in the mornings before I go to work. Try to get them like new before the weekend.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Rode down to Swindon and then bristol to see my dad now that the bike works well-ish. (The scraping noise has gone Lloydie) but I can't walk because of some stupid car driver. Did an emergency brake because he was like 5 metres from his exit on the fosse(didn't even indicate). My brother braked in time, I didn't. Brakes locked. Went down the side of his bike and practically impaled my leg on his rear footpeg. Lost my right footpeg to his calf. Then carried on riding and got bought a set of leathers as my trousers were shredded and they were a good offer. It's been an eventful day!!

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Today i Fitted a 5000k HB3 main beam bulb, what a nightmare so little space to fit my hands what i expected to take 5 mins took 20 mins + as i couldn't get my hand in the space to maneuver the bulb holder
so on the Gixxer I've now got the H7R 5000K HID, two 5000K 5 SMD Leds and the HB3 5000K bulb all nice and ice white at the front and none of that horrid yellow light it was putting out before
to be honest wish i had gone for 6000 Kelvin but wombles it not re doing all them again lol
And then after that i just stripped the rear caliper on the 954 cleaned it up like new,
greased / refreshed the seals
fitted HEL braided hose
fitted brembo pads
fitted brembo rear disc
bled it up with some nice new castrol brake fluid,
954 looks very bling now on the rear
still got the front end lines to do on it but the rear was wombles, dad had worn the pads down so much it was scoring the disc which meant new a disc
the caliper and rear end of the bike with the wheel off was minging after me using it in winter so good to get that looking like new again

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Looks like you have an attachment there for a lambada sensor. Are they Storm headers or something else that you will have to mod to fit.Just picked up some akropovic headers
CK you bike is looking mint. But as Lloyd said, electric drill and a buffer. I think you cans would look better if they where upswept but you would have difficulties with the other half on the back.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Yeah. Totally and completely my fault CK
obviously.
I didn't touch the rear brake once in my 120 mile day... Apart from to try and keep the rear planted and not go onto my front wheel... My plan failed
and yeah. Without the work on brakes you did I would have either gone into the back of my brother or the car. So thanks for saving my life

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Good job you still have them restrictors in then. How the hell did you manage that then Did you not keep a decent braking distance or was you just not reading the road ahead and anticipating problems.I can't walk because of some stupid car driver. Did an emergency brake because he was like 5 metres from his exit on the fosse(didn't even indicate).

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
hope your leg feels better tomorrow young virt. lloydie you lucky sod, where did you find them, my all time fav exhausts, no better quality out there. you gotta find some carbon akra cans, with carbon straps and brackets, just as rare but the mutts nutts.
i've been having fun today, cutting up a spare blade front mudguard i bought off of seb a while back. once the cutting is finished i'll paint it and pop some mesh into the holes....
another one of my bodges which will never work properly....
one of these days...
i was just out for a little 20 mile ride, i had 4 different car(at different time on the road) try to enter my lane right ontop of me, they just don't look in london......its not like i'm small and can't be seen....
