I know it's not the point, as it's a classy front end, but there was a member of this forum a few years ago (was it Daffy or a similar WB cartoon character?) asking about a blade front end for the VTR. Sir Ditchfield said, in very polite terms, that the rider has to be a British level racer to feel the benefits of a Blade front end over a reworked VTR one.
Never the less, I'd still want that front end! Oh yes please.

No bike (yet).

I know he’s had them listed for £500 on Facebook so Might take even less . I was thinking about getting them myself but decided to stick with rwu forks this time .gilson wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 10:51 pmIt does seem expensive.lloydie wrote:Rsv front end ready to bolt on

Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)
I respect Roger's opinion, but I fitted a later USD blade front end on mine and found it an improvement. No, I'm not a racer!
As the forks are shorter, I preferred the "front-endy" feel it gave.
But that's down to setup preferences, and the trade off in ground clearance didn't trouble me much on the roads.
It's nice to be able to adjust compression and rebound seperately when you want to, so older or newer (rwu or USD) blade forks are nice if you like fiddling.
Also, you can benefit from larger disc diameters, and, if other braking components are also changed, better braking as a result.
Lastly, as I used a complete front end swap, I got six spoke wheels as well, a bit lighter but mostly cosmetic.
It's an expensive way of gaining a little improvement though, with USD you need the yokes as well, and at least wheel spacers if you want to re use your Storm wheel.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Also I'm not sure you realise the forks are Aprilia which were fitted to a Blade, not Blade forks just in case you were thinking about putting in a bid

Chris.

Chris.
I'm not going to bid for them, spent a few quid already and now need the time to sort before next month.
I've been watching some YouTube videos about vinyl wrapping and intend to wrap my track fairings. Doesn't seem impossible and I hope a better finish than a rattle can.

Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)
iv went of the idea of a front end swap as, 1 my front end is perfect for what i need and 2 iv just waiting to get something much nicer to finish the bike
