Then laid out a few bits..... and yes, if you were wondering, you can retro fit a ride height adjuster to your Ohlins shock

Well actually just got back as it's only 1900 here.

So after a Freeway or A road run to a friends and back, check the bike over and headed out to the "Test Track"...... http://www.pashnit.com/roads/cal/LittleTujungaRd.htm

I did make a little change during this and lowered my ride height to 8mm, so now my trail numbers are real close to 100mm

Which in geek is saying the bike is real stable and neutral, both on the brakes and throttle, when leaned over.

Even on a "shake down" run I was carrying 10-15 MPH more than "normal" without really trying.

So for me, the bike is working very well

Now that is what I call a test track, beautiful roads. You have just depressed me now  I don't have anything as beautiful here with Sunshine and very little traffic. For crying out loud, we struggle for sunshine. It's all doom and gloom here in London again.

Could be worse  Sat in my office and it's 20 degrees outside according to my phone. Sunlight streaming through the window and heating my desk up.. I'd rather ride in crap weather than be tortured by good weather that will vanish 5 minutes before I leave

Not what I have done but what I'm planning for next couple of weeks, best I post up here so I will actually do it!

1. Oil & filter change (bought 3 pack Honda oil filters from David Silver). Oil is semi syn Halfords 10/40-toiled about car vs bike oil and figure I change it often enough to warrant car oil.

2. Bought another bloody choke cable-I've over tightened choke knob again & snapped it!

3. Remove carbs & fit cable & change from #50s to #48s pilots and up to 182/185 mains.

4. Ride, a lot!!!

That is all!

Hopefully ill do this not this weekend but next.

Griff.
