Evening all, I promised I would add more to this thread so here goes. I have been busy thanks to Mr pineapple and Geoff, completely changed the exhaust to revert back to twins as it was far too loud and I wasn't keen on the sound. Sounds far better - this is the video with baffles in, I will try it without after the dreaded MOT.

This is what it looks like with the new exhausts, (the masking tape is holding my carbon tank protector on while the glue dries):

I thought the masking tape was the tank pad

Those cans sounds quite respectable.

Yeah I was impressed, even the neighbour thought they sounded good! Does that make them too quiet? :p

The cans sound good to me  will they need straps and supporting brackets?

Chris.

I was well impressed with the packaging, I couldn't work out what I had ordered until I opened it up and bloody hell both cans and straps!

In other news mot was passed yesterday so rode the bike for the first time in over 2 years.

The exhausts have got a bracket on the link pipe joined to the foot pegs, wasn't sure if the cans need anything but they seem pretty sturdy.

just keep checking them, you wouldn't want them falling off.....
I was surprised I managed to get it all in such a small box, it was a risk with the c/f tank pad, but loads of bubble wrap did it's job....
