Not sure myself what to do with the swing arm.
I have an option of fitting high-level pipes, and I've resisted this so far because I think it will expose too much of the arm, which looks too much like a budget part.
Painting it might help, but I'm adding a brace to mine, purely for cosmetic reasons, as I don't think it actually needs it.
That's worth polishing and showing off, hopefully, I'll wait until it's done and I've had a chance to see it on the bike, then make my mind up.

if you decide to black it up mike dont use hammerite as it looks crap if you splash fuel on it.
then the silver bits look odd tho like the hangers and stuff.
it' does look good against the yellow though
@tony - thats the reason i didnt fit the hi level pipes to mine (ended up swapping them for my kwak!)
plus they obscured the indicators from the side view and came a bit too close to the number plate...
the back end needs a lot of thought to make the hi levels look good imo

Sooooooo stage 1 is done! lol
Got loadsa stuff powdercoated satin black, popped in new bearings, seals etc where needed!
Stripped back the forks and re-painted them silver, the proceeded to replace as many nuts and bolts as possible with stainless jobbies, still got a handful to do, but gotta wait for an order to come in!
Finally got my linkages sorted, repainted them and added some grease nipples too, another speedy service from David Silvers, although saved myself over £40 by getting the bearings from a local place! lol
Decided to leave the swinger as it is, although I shotblast the cast bit to get it looking all clean and spanky again! Then cleaned everything in and around the front sprocket area, all the old chain lube was a tw@ to get off! lol
Then lastly I re-sleeved my old scabby alloy cans to pretty much brand new looking carbon jobbies, new clamps etc and polished up the link pipes and hangers! Oh and nearly forgot, replaced my crappy looking brake lines with some new red and black HEL jobbies, again replcaed everything in the calipers with SS!
So all I have to do now is get the wheels powdercoated and find a nice rear shock!

Shiny, just in time for the weather to start picking up.
Forks and brake calipers came up nice
Are you leaving the mirrors off?

Been a long time since I updates this, alots changed since Feb! lol
A few month ago I came off in the wet, pretty much destroyed the whole left side of the bike,
bent the forks,
yokes,
wheel,
discs,
front and rear subframes,
snapped clucth lever and bar,
snapped the rearsets,
link pipe,
end can etc etc
Anyway after alot of ebay searching and ringing mates I managed to get all the bits I needed to repair it, replaced all the snapped bits, sorted the front subframe and managed to get a straight rear which got powdercoated black. Also managed to get my hands on a set of Harris rearsets which got the powder treatment, switched over to a "HRC" rear res too.
Roger kindly did his magic to a spare set of internals for the left fork as they were damaged, and after a huge saga with stanchions finally got them rebuilt with new seals, bushes and Silkolene oil, gave them a splash of apint whilst I was it too! Oh and fitted the Coerce fork brace too!
Got my discs straightened after the spare set I had fitted were very broke! lol Also got them skimmed whilst I was it so there practically brand new! Then fitted a Brembo 19x18 M/C which resulted in a massive nightmare, could I hell get the thing to not leak, spent a whole week sorting this one! lol
Then at last I managed to get my hands on a decent shock, a Penske 8983 double, bought it from some guy in the US, again a big thanks to Roger for sorting me a softer spring for it! Got that fitted last night and all setup, which is a pain btw!
Anyway heres some pic at long last! lol
Also got this ready to be welded up and coated when I can be bothered!

That looks good fella. I bought a Penske 8983 off E Bay and I have just ordered a new spring to cope with my morbidly obese frame! So I will be re-building it soon. What caused you problems setting it up?

The M/C has done wonders, the feel it offers is unrivalled with all the other M/C's Ive tried on it, and for £175 new it was a bargain!
However Ive got SBS pads fitted at the mo and Im getting massive brake fade after 30 or so mile of very hard abuse, so Ive ordered a set of Versah RJL's which should sort that issue out!
As for setting the back end up its just soooooooo fiddly to get to the ride height adjuster, then if you dont position the rebound screw in just the right place you cant get it it! Roger told me to set the static sag to 8mm, and with having soooo much adjustment is quite difficult to get to!
FYI, Ive added 10mm onto the ride height over std, set the static sag to 8mm which results in me having a rider sag of 34mm, which for street riding is as perfect as can be, or so Ive been told! lol 2 turns of the rebound screw from fully out seems to get me a decent return rate!
Once youve done the back end go and check your front end again, as raising the back end had chnaged my front sag!
Up front Im running 27mm of static sag with the rebound screw 1 turn out from fully in!
However this may all change when I make a trip to Rogers place in the next few weeks! lol

Just a thought re the braced swing arm, is it possible/likely even that stiffening the swing arm will put excess strain on the swing arm bearings and indeed the rear of the engine which is a stressed member, could the braced swing arm ‘over stress’ it? I only mention this because I believe the Revolution race bikes Roger did initially featured an extended and reinforced frame, a section added that linked the main body of the frame to the swing arm mount on the rear of the engine/gear box.
I realize the engine block is probably pretty strong but flex was obviously detected in this area or Revolution wouldn’t have bothered extending the frame, it would be interesting to hear Rogers view, maybe you could ask him when you visit Revolution.
The bike is looking great BTW and I think I’ll be replicating your brake set up, I’ve soldiered on with the OE set up now and despite SBS sbk pads (no fade from the SBSs although the stock set up probably isn’t working them to hard!!!) and I think it’s about time I sorted them out, and your ser up seems to fit the bill in terms of performance and value, keep up the good work.

Only over 130 bhp, that is to say, stage 2 tuning will the rear of the gearbox give fatigue issues.
Possibly it would be a concern for drag racing with less bhp, as the pull by the chain is more intense and for more of the life of the unit for that purpose, but basically for a standard power output, even with dynojet and cans, no worries at all.
The extension plates and welding aren't expensive, though, so if you're at all worried, there are a few people who can do this.
