Really sad to hear this news - I had only just read the thread where Benny was talking about Mike's old bike being bought by Banksy, then read this one... :thumbdown:

Like loads of other people on here, I never met him personally, only through the forum, but I can tell that he will be sorely missed by all. Rip Benny.

I can;t take it in.. I'm shocked and stunned, and got really upset this morning when I heard...Martin has been helping me out with advise, decals, diaphragms since day 1 and I am too shocked for words..He lived to ride and he rode like the wind..Ride free my friend, good night and god bless... :cry:

Tragic loss. Never had the chance to meet or even get to know Martin but from simply reading posts here and on the VTR Owners page on FB as well as his FB itself it seems he was quite a character and i'm sure will be sorely missed by many.

RIP fella, may you now be riding in a better place.

sh1t..........I only just found out when cheekykev phoned me at work.........i have had to shut the door and cry!!!!!!!!

he was big heart, big mouth, big character and you could never avoid having fun if he was around.

Wales trip wont be the same without him

really shocked, I never met him but chatted on here and a couple of PM,s

he sounded like a top guy

Condolences to all family and friends. Only ever talked via the forums and PM`s but seemed a truly decent bloke, always willing to help out with parts or advice.

Oh No Martin .. I was with you last Tuesday evening week at a NWB meeting at the
Raven Shropshire ... left you at 2030 hrs you tucking into a massive
plate of chips and a juicy burger with friends.. earlier this year.. you cctd my storm brilliantly for
me in your garage and I met your family at your home Birchwood Warrington and
all I can say is ....... well I cant find any words to say ....... what a guy :clap: a true true guy x 87 . :clap:
Brilliant sense of humour... and the most helpfull person I have had the great honour to meet in my life
both professionally and socially they don't come any better ..
