Errrr No!
I have had a few changes of mind of what else i'm doing....
Just come back from the TT's (Great time i'll add, will try and post a few pics etc up shortly) Very much enjoyed the whole experience, did plenty of riding through the week also going out on mad Sunday... however... picked up a fair share of chips flying over the mountain pass, have an slight oil leak, front wheel bearing started grinding like hell soon as I got there, broke my seat cowl because I didn't lift my leg high enough

I suddenly realised I don't want a mint bike.. at least not too mint.. bike looks nice as is although I will still nib and polish plus add a few decals & tank pad but I wont be spraying on the decals as planned.. I'm not disheartened in any way with the marks and bits that went wrong but I think that if I took the bike further taking all the trouble to flat and polish to look like glass as i planned, spray on decals etc etc I'll just end up in a state where I won't want to use or ride the bike in quite the same way, I don't want to be in a position where i'm pee'd off because of a chip or scuff. I want to take this bike everywhere, I already use it daily and i don't do winter breaks so sun, rain or snow she keeps rolling all year around so i'm basically going to leave bike as it.. and enjoy it to the max! Will keep it clean and serviced ofc.. and over time will buy a few extra goodies for it.. want to fit a brace to rear swing arm, maybe rear sets, maybe swap out front end another time.. thinking about getting a orange iridium screen and im sure there will be a few extra things ill think off but as far as paint work goes she can pretty much stay as is.
Plus i have a few stickers which don't go with the bike at all but i'm gonna stick them on there anyway

Do you think the paint maybe needed a bit more time to fully cure and harden off before taking stone impacts. A ceramic coating is a good idea too. It works on a nano scale and actually bonds into the microns of paint and dries harder than paint and protects it from the elements. The downside to Ceramic coating is that I don't think it can be applied directly over fresh paint. IIRC the paint needs to be left for something like 3 months so it's well and truly fully cured and hardened off before applying it.

Paint was low baked.. should of been plenty hard enough. Chips are not too big and are mostly on the front of the belly pan. Belly pan is fibre glass so a lot harder than normal fairing panels and more likely to chip. Quick touch up and I will put a clear piece of vinyl across the front when I get chance.
I'm guessing I picked them up going up and down the M5 and M6.. road works going on around the place so sure to of being throwing plenty up off the front wheel.
