Breaking news,

The black and white looks bad!





Even tidied up it looked pooncey!

So now it's all white here we come.

Oh well, tried something different and it didn't work.

Pissing down rain here at the moment so I am re preparing the wheels for all white.

i polish mine once every 2 months and wash them after each ride and there still spotless!. Its worth it in my opinion as they look fab.

Mine are powdercoated....polished every 2-3 months and given a wipe over with a microcloth sprayed with wd40 after each ride.
Still as new.

maybe if the center colour had been a bright colour, yellow. red and what not.

Well, here we go again.

Polished lip with white centres and spokes.

Half way there.

Now to mask up the wheels for the white section.

I thought that I would have the polished lip so when the new tyres go on there is no chance do chipping the paint.

Nothing better to do as it is bucketing down with rain and the wind is 60 MPH!

Lucky the man cave is heated.

Blimey have you any fingertips left I hope you have power tools for sanding. Liking the look of the polished outer though. I wonder how it looks against the rest of the bike as you have a few polished bits already. I'm thinking they would blend in nicely and look the dogs dangles.

Most of Oz is in drought.

It has been a very mild winter here and the rain is much needed.

I am lucky as I live on a mountain near the coast and get more rain than most areas but it has been very dry until now.

As for the wheels, good old paint stripper and plenty of elbow grease.

Lucky I don't have fingerprint recognition on the I Pad as I have none left.

I am painting the front wheel tonight hopefully.

Will post pics of course!

Well sad news I'm afraid.

Went to my cousins funeral today, he was only 3 months older than me and passed away unexpectedly.

We used to surf together and ride bikes . He even bought a couple of me.

When he got married all that went by the way and the last time I saw him we reminisced about our youth and he lamented that he had given bikes away.

He was planning to get a bike in the next few months and recapture some of his lost youth.

This has made me realise how lucky I am that I did not succumb to the stereotype of a Dad and still did everything that I wanted without any harm to my family.

Makes me realise how fickle life can be and spurs me on to do as much as I possibly can while I can.

Tonight I will give the front wheel it's final coat and mask up the back wheel and undercoat ready to paint tomorrow night.

Hope to get the new rubber on early next week and finally go for a ride on the Storm in remembrance of my cousin!
