#Now that would keep me popular at the bike meets

time to fess up, I've never been called a whore before! 8O

Popkat guessed it right almost straight away. Lloydie was close but went for the R version. Funnily enough Micky went for the same option as Popkat but both had guessed a Harley first 8O...never new I gave off those sort of vibes, even if I would look good in chaps :shifty:

So GSX S 1000F The fairinged one  is my new weapon of choice :D
You all can blame Ali for letting me try his VTR with the flat bar conversion. Great riding position. Lightened crank to spin up quickly with some good suspension mods front and back. It showed me you can have your cake and eat it :D Comfort and Sports
SO when I saw this tiny Suzuki with big old flat bars and 145 bhp I just had to give it a go :Woohoo1:

And this system is way more advanced than anything Suzuki has on its current traction-control equipped bikes - the Suzuki V-Strom 1000.It can be turned off, even if the ABS can't.
Beg your pardon Bennets, my TC can be turned off as well. It's just wombles terrifying when you do

Looks like a nice bike though, it sounded amazing from 44teeth's review of it

They look like a good bike Pete, only saw one at the nec but I've been thinking of going and having a test ride on one just to see what they're like..

The Harley guess wasn't serious, you've been outspoken for your obvious love of the brand  I thought you'd be blinkered to anything else :P
and I never want to see you in chaps 8O

Oh well, at least I got the Suzuki blue and the GSX part right. And it's the same metallic blue on the new Hayabusa. Still no cigar I guess? Awww nutz.

Enjoy!

Apparently excellent. They do look like a tiny bird though its the bit between the lights.

Should go well based on the 2005 K% lump. That was an awesome bike.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

Cheers Guys,
Glad you like my choice. If you get a chance for a test ride I would say go for it. There's not much of a power difference, and it does feel a little odd running such high revs after a V twin but I was most impressed with it's stability and front end feel. The chassis, lent over, on the power was so stable, even crossing the white lines, its quite confidence inspiring :cool2

Thanks Chris, I've managed to put my back out this weekend and I've been feeling a bit sore and sorry for myself.
That good bit of humour really cheered me up

Nice bike... congrats! I have to admit I am giving this a look also, as a stablemate for my Storm (eventually anyhow)

Yes Sir, you did! :P
Get on one quick and test it before winter sets in. It'll give you something to think about over those long winter nights :D

I wish I had room for a stable mate, that would be ideal but space is limited so I've got to stay a one bike family :Ball Kick:

Glad I could be of service. I started looking at one for me and the wife but the pillion seat isn't big enough for her butt  looks like it is Suzuki's answer to the z1000sx, something else I'd been looking at. Saw one on the ferry to Spain and liked the look of it even more

My wife said the same about the seat and her ass. I think the kawi would be better for two up and touring, it also has hard luggage available. Julie saw a zzr1400 this morning and wants me to go for that!!!
