Headlight cover to protect it as if you smash it i dont think you can just replace the lens you have to buy the complete unit but probably loads on ebay so forget 500 quid!!!!!

the single sided swingarm off the vfr800 to buy from my local Honda dealer is over 1300 quid then the hub and carrier is 500 + vat 8O 8O 8O all i can say is thank Fxxxk for ebay

Couldnt agree with you more alan! its saved me hundreds over the years!

£200 isnt really that bad when you consider some end cans cost more than that! I might try and get the headlight cheap first and fairing pannels after! Im thinking could be a fun project for the winter months!

(yes i know really i should sort rust and stuff but bah,, thats boring!)

bloody ell, been waiting for screen,so i can do a final check see if mounting points are going to be ok,and everything will clear.

Screen only just turned up in last couple of days!!!! (This is the longest i have ever had to wait for anything, thought id been scammed)

Update....

Rear plastics primed rubbed down undercoated, and ready for topcoat and laquer.

Tank as above, ready for paint.

All brackets made and fitted, and all handle bar controls, etc. clear screen/top front fairing.

All panels now coming off again to be sprayed.

Wil update again shortly.

Know what you mean. Got some spraying to do myself, but trying to heat my garage is like trying to heat a barn!

Guess we'll have to wait a while to see the result.
