still overcast & wet here, but I think it will ease off soon so only wet roads rather that full on rain and waterproofs

AS FAR as I can tell, heavy rain at 10am and that's it!! Why not delay the start by an hour? Avoid getting soaked let the heavy shower pass first????

Just an idea, been lovely here all day 55 miles down the road and forecast is light shower here in morning light shower in afternoon there but heavy shower at 10am so to avoid 10am getting soaked, guys?????

Jamie and Lynda ( Shauneds mates) are leaving here in next hour and coming in white van with bike in the back... Should be with you by 6 ish...

I've been in touch with FL and sent photos of the BBC weather page for tomorrow for Brecon = Sunny all day.. Hay on Wye = Sunny all day to Lyndas phone to show him.. Bala= rain all afternoon Aberystwth = Rain all afternoon.. watching local weather tonight they said we had escaped the worst today ( was really sunny) BUT tomorrow mid n north Wales gonna get it but east Wales best for sunshine... FL is on the case I think to change the route, do no harm, better to head into sunshine for the afternoon than rain all day -(

There are cracking roads round Hay on Wye and Brecon= brilliant on bike... so see what gives in the morning, btw, first time for months I had the heating on tonight!   told Lynda they could have taken a spare quilt, I never give it a thought!! :eek2

Have a safe trip guys, one of my work friends planted his bike into the car on front in the rain tonight on the way to work, he's been unconscious with head injuries but has come round and is out of danger bit apparently cannot walk,

stay safe all watch those greesy sheep shagger roads!

Got back around 4.30 and everyone was safe, a splinter group have gone to pick cheeky kevs mobile up as it was left in Murray's van after he dropped bennys bench off.
Weather has been great, just the occasional shower and wet patches. From previous trips up here I would say we have been really good.
We are off to the curry house at 8 and back to fun stories around bennys bench.
