Not long got back from a long day at Tony's, had exhaust cams fitted to replace inlet, valve clearances done, mcct's fitted, stick coils fitted and oil, filter and plugs changed.........can't say I done much of the work tho

How's it running then?
We found that one of the rear cams was one tooth out.

ran sweet as a nut all the way home, seems crisper on the throttle and acceleration feels quicker

Had a take away calzone pizza with wife & mo in law. And changed the car's front pads. Oh and prepp'd the 'storm for tomorrow's carb fest!! Griff.

...........and back on he topic of bikes........
I did my front wheel bearings for Mr mot man. Still could not find anything wrong with them
Also noticed that I need some new front pads. Not urgent but within a week or two. Any suggestions on where to het some? Be quoted 48quid for fronts. That sound alright? Want something decent.
Also need to re bleed the front brakes as the levers feel rather spongy at the mo.

Is that for two sets. I use Brembo street pads which are a bit pricey but they are a superb feel and braking resistance and wear very slowly. They have about half the pad material as say EBC's which is shocking when you first get them, but as I said they don't wear half as fast. You may want to consider completely changing the fluid for some fresh stuff if it's not been done for a couple of years.

That's £48 for both of then. So £24 each. I am going to do a full change. Was only done about 10months a go if that so its a odd that its gone cr@p already

Got these last change I did, seem OK to me. IIRC they were recommended by Benny.
