I blame lloydie as I appear to have bought a set of carbon akrapovic pipes designed for ZZR1400 off the demon tweaks clearance shop on e bay. They are 52mm inlet and my viper link pipes are 50, so the winter project will be getting the links flared out by 2mm and getting the spring loops welded on

Anybody interestd in a set of viper aluminium oval cans with dB killers but no links (you can get them as a separate item) contact me and we will see if we can do a deal come winter time

Then I also manged to get a fabri double bubble screen nice and cheep, so it has been an expensive night on e-bay :(

On the CCT front, I stripped the bike down and inspected the front CCT with the intention of swapping it with one off my other engine, but it is working fine! Great spring tension, nice and free moving and the stopper has 1/2 a turn clearance as it should.....so I guess it's just a cold engine noise that sounds different with the fairing off!

Then i put my benny stickers on the front mudguard and the belly pan, and lacquered the one on the belly pan so it won't be coming off

I know they would be to tempting to pass up :-) .
Mr tyres can flair them out and it shouldn't be to hard to find somewhere to get done loops put on .
I have some springs (arrow springs)if you need them .

Good news with the ccts

Cobbled together a power supply so I can keep my iPhone charged next weekend. There's some really nice USB power converters on eBay - but I don't have time to wait for them to come from Taiwan.

This will have to do temporarily:

Unstuck me nuts...Resulting in this...

Wheelie bins as soooooooooo last year so I thought I'd incorporate my watering can...

Top engine bolt was the sticky one, bit of heat & judicious use of one of many hammers & a drift & it came out fairly easy...

I did enlist the help of neighbour Andy to do the thwacking & lifting...

*cough cough* I think you'll find it was set to 441 ohms
Now tell them how well my engine and clutch are
I rode Kermit and got the front wheel up on that  and on my way back gave mine a good hammering and it is now a lot smoother and picks up a lot better. Also got the front up a little on that too

Oh and I ordered a new air filter
