Nice one CK, exciting isn't it? I remember moving to a new job, down South, relocating wife/kids and it was only 18 months ago - wish I had a time machine
Hope it all works out buddy.

Well
I flew to Northern Ireland on 17th. Got up at 0530...had an assessment for a new job which took me until lunch time. Then had a six and a half hour wait for my flight back to Gatwick. Got home at 2200 and started work at 2245. Finishing in 1 hour 47minutes. (0700).
So what cheered me up???
When I got home my replacement swingarm bearings /bits were there having been ordered from David silvers. Took a while as the Honda bits took time apparently but glad to have them as I'm hopefully picking up the powdered swingarm later this morning
Oh and my wife made me some 30th birthday cupcakes and bought some beers.
Yes. On my 30th I was doing an interview and getting very tired indeed.

the burnt out car has be removed, also there was a stolen and wrecked scooter out the back, both have now gone, but there's one hell of a mess left behind, lets see how long it takes for the housing estate trust to clean it up....

There's a lesson to you, don't chuck the roach over the fence.

the local youths were using the car to smoke drugs in, there was loads of those little silver canisters around the car, fecking little gits...

Today I:
1. fitted a quickshifter to the SP2
2. Discovered that tuning using nowt but a lappie is much kinder on the hands. There might be something in it...
3. Took it out for a ride to see if it's any good.
So, initial feedback, based on straight out-of-the -box settings- 120ms kill time 1st to 2nd, and 60ms kill all other changes. I've chosen to kill fuel only at first, but would quite like to play with ignition kill instead- purely to get the pop and bang as the unburnt fuel ignites..... I never said I wasn't puerile.....
It seems to work ok.
HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAH !!!!!!!
I should got one of these working long time back.
It'll work killing ignition only on a Storm, but if you want a unit that's capable of killing fuel, so it will only work in that mode with a bike running Fi.
Mine runs on a PowerCommander V, but I think they can also run on the PCIII.
I thought I was pretty quick shifting gear the usual way, pinging the clutch with my fingers, and slightly closing the throttle- but the qs is lots quicker, and that's before I start to close up the times to see how short the cut can be before starting to get missed changes.
Trouble is; I've already started to think about an auto-blipper and downshift unit.............

It's a gearchange thing that makes upward gearchanges much quicker-,like a paddle shift on a posh car.....
Just like Lorry Al, I'm worth it.

Nice one CK, even though you have the power it can be an uncomfortable situation, made worse the more you like the boss personally.
