crikey - how did that get past without starting a bit of a ruckus

Jonjon - our european friends/foes on the continent do indeed use metric systems. We inhabitants of the queen's isle are all wombles up and have a mix of old and rather odd measurement systems, and some jolly sensible ones like our european friends/foes use. Good old british miles for us islanders - is that the same as a US mile?

Oh, I felt sorry for the storm so gave her a spraying of scottoil protection oil stuff

fitted new clear lenses

fitted new clear lenses :D courtesy of toonarmy , meant putting the original indicators back on the rear but think they are better than the tiny ones, just need a washer to adjust and straighten them as the underpan is slightly sloped at the fixing point but im happy

Not today but yesterday all my troubles seem so far away

I finally bought a Mityvac kit and have also ordered some muffler packing to re-do my Aratas. I'm going to use the Silent Sport loose fill. This is the same company that does the packing for the likes of Akropovic, Arata.
http://www.silentsport.de/premium.php#p

I didn't buy direct though and purchased from eBay a 1000gm - x4 packs. 500gm a can which I was advised via email from Silent Sport.

It's time to do them as my exhaust sounds like distorted speakers if you know what I mean.

stripped the front end out, replaced the front wheel brgs and headstock brgs, polished the front wheel rims and put it all back together busy day
next job is to replace the bolts that hold the calipers together with some nice shiney stainless ones

Worth double checking but I think they might be all the same size.

Here's another listing that list the same bolts for multiple callipers.

Most calipers made by Tokico, Nissin, Sumitomo (and non-branded types made by the motorcycle manufacturers) use this type of bolt to join caliper halves
