Weather is beautiful here today, after a few very cold days we got 16 C 8O so I dropped my job for the day and got the bike out for a couple hour run on back roads before the Friday commute hits.
Every time I ride it I feel 20 years younger :D

Finished off the steering head bearings, working nicely now - also changed the seat lock and top yoke so I now have a single key (plus spare) for ignition, tank and seat - as Mr Honda intended, as opposed to the three different ones the bike came with!!

Tried slotting the frozen screw in the swingarm - no joy, just going to have to cut the head off and drill the sucker out.

Also tried taking off Air Cleaner - 3 decent screws, one chewed up horror I could not shift!

Well technically it wasn't just today but I have finished....or at least close as there are still some details to wrap up but here is how she looks today

Image

So here is the list:
New DB wind screen
New fork seals
Rebuilt front calipers with new seals and pads
New front brake lines
CGR brake lever
New cup seal in clutch slave cylinder
Flo-commander

and time for a few more pics:

Finally got around to installing my rear sets
Of course the Akra full exhaust system

Here is the other side:

Which should be called the porn shot with Akrapovic, Gilles and Ohlins all in one pic.....

Things are a little "busy" under the bike now.......lol

Now if I could only ride the bloody thing..... and yes the weather is still nice here :Ball Kick:

Nice job Mike 8) 8)

What make is that double bubble screen :?: it looks like it should do a good job of getting the wind above your helmet.
