i like the middle two exhaust positions mate, its looking good, your getting pretty tasty with the fibre glassing aswell...

Don't forget to take into consideration the heel of your foot on the peg. It's all looking good, coming along nicely

Picture 4 works for me......
With the exposed trellis frame, if you extend an imaginary line out the back of the bike from the top rail, brace rail and exhaust, they all look to meet up at a central point.
Definately coming along nicely.

the angles look similar to these, you could use the tubular supports for the exhaust brackets, nice

watching cafe racer on tv the last few hours and i just might do one when the vtr is finished .
as i can get hold of an old cb400 4 in ok condition for the build cheep

Same here Lloydie, those guys have got some skills. Really fancy doing something with a TR1 or. 750 virago and giving it a Vincent feel.

Just not sure if the foam will take the heat

Yeh they really look the part mate, I like

There's no way the foam will take the heat unless it's designed for that purpose. It will melt and leave a horrible mess on your pipes. Best to use some exhaust wrap. I had some P clips with rubber inserts on the exhaust attached to the lower peg mounts. That melted and left a horrible mess. And that was on Titanium which is slightly cooler
