Sad news and sad story that. See that's what happens when one gets married and then kids to keep one in the marriage and/or life forever. A child is like a Woman's nuclear weapon, there's no turning back once that warhead pops out.

I hope you get the bike sorted soon so you can get on that ride. Do you have a little trip planned out in the bush. Some time away to gather ones thoughts.

Now back on track.

Front almost finished, just need to feather the edges on the white where it meets the polished lip.

Back wheel all under coated and ready for rub down before final paint.

Blackened fork refitted as well.

Bloody hell, should have just done this first time around but I wanted to try something different.

Have just been informed at work that I have to work for 11 days straight as there has been a problem with staff so I will slow down and make sure that it is right before I put the Storm back on the road.

This is the longest it has been idle in 2 years.

I'm also sorry to hear about the loss of your cousin.
You don't realise it when you're young, but life is short, we're all only passing through. Life is very precious, and you're right, enjoy it while you can.

Chris.

PS. Your wheels are looking are going to look good on the bike this time I think.

I'm liking the polished tops to the fork lowers. I might have to steal that idea myself

Unfortunately my fork brace will hide most of the polished top, but I pride myself on attention to detail so I went to the trouble of doing it.

Back wheel ready for paint now so shouldn't be too long!

Famous last words where the saga of my wheels is concerned.

Well front wheel almost done, looks O.K but will reserve opinion until on the Storm but so far happy with how it looks.

Need to get the tyres on and on the bike.

It is my aim to be riding on the weekend coming.

I reckon another half a case should do it

Will give a final touch up when on the bike.

For now I am happy with the result!

White ans Silver.....I think that is going to look fantastic on your bike. White wheels are little too stark IMO and the outer rim colour you have there will break it up/soften it.

Yeh looks good mate, looking forward to seeing them on the bike.

Got the tyre on today YEAH!,!

Was chuffed when the tyre guy said "Who did your wheel it looks great, then enquirer what it was off"

Ready to go on, got some of those right angled valve stems so will be easier to do the pressures.

Back wheel has had final coat as well and will prepare fore the tyre over the next couple of nights.

Hope to fit front tonight and start work on prepping the back wheel for the tyre.

If it turns out as well as the front I will be a happy man.

I really like the white and gold of the discs....
it's also nice when someone comments on your workmanship, I look forward to seeing both front and rear on the bike, I also have the 90 degree valves, so much easier than the normal ones.
