May I suggest, for a discerning gentleman like yourself with unquestionable good taste and an eye for fashion, that blue as a base colour makes perfect sense. Ignore the few nay sayers on the forum and join those at the cutting edge of design. Yay blue!

funny you say blue , i was thinking about Red but then it would look like a pseudo Ducati then i thought about black , but i have two bikes that are black then silver , but to much of that on the frame and engine so it will be blue ,a dark candy blue

i had a 1999 R1 and i did love that colour but i was told that it was a tinted lacquer over a silver base like a candy , so thats the way im going to go with that i think
