Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Nothing, haven't even seen it. For all I know it might have been stolen...But I did just snag a brand new Dynojet kit for £65 inc post..... Bargain !!

Still nowt - although I bought one half of a set of six spoke wheels, unfortunately I won the rear and lost out on the front

I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Well today me and Lloyd fixed mine
headlight hasn't blow...... Yet and the heated grips are staying on
looks like it may have just been bad connections. A day well spent

Cheers jamoi
I glad it's not just me then. After seeing all the soot I then decided to remove the inlet manifold and give that a good decoke too.
She runs better than new now and I'm getting and extra ten to the gallon

That's a big improvement Pete, congrats
EGRs are nothing but trouble. But then again ad blue is no better either. Stick to the old stuff. Its far easier to work with/on

Watty,
Ive seen that mod suggested on a number of sites but not really considered it as there's a lot of baldrocks posted these days and everything is the best since sliced bread
Have you found any difference in how the car runs? Is it really worth trying?
I've plenty of tin plate in the garage and could cut a blanking plate up in five minutes but I didn't know if there would be any ill effects.

Had Carl over to help out with valve timing on my winter hack and fit some Bazza manual CCT's

Also Carl cut his forehead on the fairing brace while bending over the engine
