today matthew I have changed my oil and filter

I got gulf semi synthetic 10w 40 off the e bay with a hi-flow filter chucked in for 26 quid .

must say its impressive, that oil has done nearly 5000 miles and was hardly discoloured. I did,nt need to top it up at all in that time. the old filter was a K&N

perhaps I need to thrash it more ??

Or clean the inside of the oil window.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Found time to strip the carbs of today, hoping to find a dynojet kit! no such luck, completly standard, choke cable knackered, seems to be sticking on, hopefully a new one will sort it, the annoying thing is that one of the rubber pieces that hold the cable into the carb is split and it comes with the valve at the bargain price of £44.00 which is more than the cable. :sad2

Just looked at the storm but got loads done to the Tzr chain and sprockets on, new rear disc, fitted the carbs and ran all cables and pipes, battery on charge, air box and ducts on, only things left to do is radiator and coolants, rear brake caliper and pads, power valve cables, 2 stroke oil tank to mount, fuel tank and fairings then I guess run it and get it ready for mot

Put front fairing back together - 8 self tappers and 4 side bracket screws (shouldered) from David Silvers, £20 FFS :eek2
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
