I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

Miss mine, I had one between 91 and 94, red/white Jap import with the indicators built into the tail. Loved that bike, lent it to a mate and he smashed it up and disappeared - some mateGazfirestormowner wrote:Done a bit more tzr now running

Great handling bike, went all over on it - best was a run back to Blackburn from Newcastle on the A69 Hexham - Carlisle before the speed Nazis ruined it, then over Shap on the M6 with no-one in sight. Never forget that run. Had LC's and YPVS but the TZR was just so...right.

Quality! I'd love a proper "smoker". Maybe an RS250 or similar. Corner speeds and braking are phenomenal. And that powerband...

Fitted new wheel bearings front and rear. Degreased a ton of greasy things. Checked swingarm over, bit of a file here and there, ready for the powdercoaters along with my rocker covers (gloss black for those)

Yeah it was very very rough and yeah that was the con rod when I got it lol think 46000 kms of red lining had took its toll lol
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Took it out for a long ride and gave it a proper cleaning. Might just be that I haven't ridden it for a week, but it definitely feels faster
