well ive not been well this weekend so sleep patten been all over the place, missed a few NFL games i wanted to place bets on too
still managed to catch one in the early hours when i woke up and had a win and a good game
After that i went into the garage as i couldn't get back to sleep and set to work on the rad
Before

After an hours elbow grease with WD40, Peek Polish and Silvo and a few old T-shirts

Looks a lot better Seb might be worth getting some heat proof paint on it to stop it going furry again
Re: what have you done to your
gona get all the bike mint again and park it up mate till till springlloydie wrote:Looks a lot better Seb might be worth getting some heat proof paint on it to stop it going furry again
i expected some mess but that shocked me what i found, when i was fitting the exhaust a few month back i had the fairings off and it all looked like new inside, i had been selective on using the bike only when it wasn't raining and had only used it a hand full of days with salt on the roads and had washed it at 3 - 4 am as soon as i got it back home from work
glad i decided to do an oil change and take the fairing off to get at the oil filter instead of trying to constrict my hand through a small hole as usual otherwise i wouldn't have found that mess, on the outside it looked mint lol
tell you what tho titanium is worth its weight in salt lol, the pinch bolts at the bottom of the forks i replaced with Ti ones at the begging of the year and they get a lot of exposure to everything on the road, no corrosion or anything look just as new as the day i put them in, the other bolts in same area look pitted and need some work to bring them back, also thank god its got titanium exhaust pipes

So far today I moved the bike out the garage and had a tidy up .
While I was in there I swapped the garage light from this
To this
5f twin tube light with digital ballast :-)
The last few time ck and I have been in there after dark and the single bulb was not up to it . I'm wAinting for permission of the landlord to paint the garage walls white to help make it brighter .

Those eco bulbs are useless, they take an age to warm up, and they emit very little light....
But in hindsight wouldn't the eco bulb be better for your romantic liaisons with ck and ymv.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
im not one for mood lighting as i want to see them scream

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
lloydie did that ages ago with the light much improved garage time, only problem is in mine there is wombles all room now the garage is reduced inside due to a shower room taking up some room and fridge freezer, freezer and washer drier and then two motorbikes and and tools and racking leaves you with wombles all room to let a fart out
wish i had more room to move id like to shim check it but cant be arsed with not being able to move about properly, might get some wooden planks to we can ride the blade up some steps into the garden and park it in the conservatory in back of house at some point
you should get some paint and carpet down buddy makes a big difference and feels a lot warmer and not a dusty dinge hole
thinking of painting the walls white so its a bit brighter too

I remember your man cave Seb it's like duffys very tight !.
I have 3 layers of carpet down already and I'm planning on more insulation for the top of the door and for the door . I might have to Batten and boards up on the walls then paint that as it can be removed when we move out .
