Let me guess...
1. You use a drill, then a bigger drill, then weld up the hole, ad then drill and tap it.
But you don't drill it straight, so the tap won't bite, so you get it welded up again, and this time you take the head off, as it's easiest and only costs you a head gasket, and then you drill and tap it successfully, rebuild it and fire it up, but on the test ride you hit a car and write it off, and spend the insurance money on one that hasn't got a broken stud?
2. you send me the head, and I do it properly, with a stainless stud, you refit it and ride into the sunset?
3. you bandage it up and wait until it heals, using the old song your nanny used to sing you as a methodology, wrapping it in brown paper and string? Apparently that is effective for broken heads, although I seem to recall the involvement of a hill....

Am I close?

He is locked in a padded room but they only let him out for a few hours once dark !!
Still heavily medicated tho

Our friend MIKE 8541Hawk called me a few minutes ago... His surgery went good, he still in ICU (incentive care unit) he expects to be out of there by Monday. He doesnt have internet at the moment and he did noticed some PMs that he wouldnt be able to reply till a couple more days.. He asked me to let you guys know that he :wave: still here!! :thumbup: I hope to see you riding soon Mike.. Take care!

Another big plus from me.
No problems.... I didnt want to call him so I pm-ed him.. since he helped me with my bike we been in touch. I really appreciate him.. Mike is a really tuff guy. He fixed fix my cousin's and my bike while going tru things that would keep most of us from getting out of bed... get well soon...
He's one of the good guys that for sure. A Marine has honour.
