Oh wombles, anyone know how these are supposed to be routed?
The round conector goes on the rear carb, the square connector comes off the loom at the same point but I have no idea where this connects to?
Do you know where they are supposed to be routed from the loom on the left near the oil cooler, to the rear carb?

Jamie those wires are the TPS and the right rad fan switch, ther one at the front of the rad that gets in the way when re-fitting the fairing. They run along the left side of the bike then route across to the right hand side along the inside of the crossbar that runs along the frame under the plastic cowl. You will also notice a little half moon cut out at the base of the cowl where the little plastic bit (where throttle cable runs through) sits. The TPS cable comes up through there and then clips into the cable clip mounted on the side. It don;t go through the big round hole in the cowl.
Off with your carbs and cowl and run the wires across to the other side of the bike. You will see the cable clips on the inside of the crossbar on frame for the errr....wire to clip into.
Here you go, you can see the wires running across in this pic.
and this shows the little half moon and circle cut out I'm referring to.

Fantastic, thanks for that.
I figured it out in the end, found all the little clips and clipped them into the frame and run the cables through them
I have been taking multiple photos as I dismantled it, must have missed these ones!

I thought I had a pic of how the TPS cable runs through the cowl. Just been through all my Photobucket and cant find one.
Oh and the other side of that crossbar on the frame is where the HT lead runs across.

Not keen on the hanger if im honest, its to angular for me i think,
i might get an R&G one as they are curved and look more flowing or i might just put the standard pillion rests back on id like to keep it factory looking i think

Started to re-assemble. Fitted taper steering bearings, yokes, changed fork oil and fitted forks. Cleaned up calipers and fitted along with rest of front end. Exhaust system back on. Front brake lines fitted and bled.
Tomorrow rear brake line and clutch line. Balance carbs. Fit 19 litre tank. General clean before fairings go back on.
Hope to have it running and ready to ride tomorrow. Bit of luck a spin on Xmas morn !!

If you really don't like the hangers... send em to me and I'll butcher them onto my storm!

You're taking long enough to rebuild it already
