Washed the bike but then it rained, then hail which soaked me within minutes of mid washing the bike. As I was already drenched I continued to lube the chain and lubricate a few parts. Got inside and it stopped raining. Half hour later I got kitted up, rode down the petrol station to do tyre pressures, popped around to a mates for a cuppa and came home.

Roads are chaos, wet and flooded in some areas, trees laying across the road blocking traffic flow. It's nasty out there and I could play spot the drink driver today. Some people and the way the drive FFS   It's shocking. Saw a car trying to do a U turn in the middle (on the brow) of one of the most busiest bridges in London. Then the knobhead had to start reversing as they did not have the turning circle into the traffic jam they where turning into.  Mental !!!!!! People driving way too slow, under the speed limit with no traffic ahead of them and swerving about.

I'm just glad I had my wits about me and got into the zone. Rode by the book (too many plod about) It's nice to remind myself I still can when I want. The bike performed very well with some more controlled throttled use instead of the usual on off

Oh and had to go online and purchase 6 months road tax as it runs out on the 31st. I shall get a years worth when that is due so it don't fall this time of year again. I didn't need that right now.

Give me the country lanes where I can spank it long time :-) .
I do feel for you hard riders that still brave it through winter on the bike

We'll have to have an Essex ride out next year.

The thing I hate about London is that a lot of the time it's just push push push and drives me to go into courier mode. Ride aggressively, heavy on and off the throttle and brakes, swerving in and out traffic, breaking a few minor traffic laws, overtaking on zig zags and such. It's just a battleground getting from a to b. Then there's the poxy traffic lights to contend with that keep you waiting until you start wondering if the are working or not. Then stuck at the next lot. The the crazy thing is, if everyone decided to drive/ride by the book, stick to the speed limits etc, things would most likely flow better......But....what fun would that be.

Da Fuq is with this weather sun was shining so i thought balls to it ill go get fuel and nip to halfords get a few things

Let it warm up for a while as it had been sat for a few weeks then rode it to the station, omg the wind! from leaving my house in the sunshine to the petrol station clouds had appeared and it had started to rain, nuts!!

went halfords got a Haynes Manual (bit pissed off with that but more on that in a minute) and some more feeler gauges as they always go missing...

rode the bike home when got home pinned it to the rev limiter and got off the bike, the bike died when it got high on the revs so thinking the wombles fuel filters a bit clogged, fired it back up was a bit hesitant for a few turns and then rode it into the garage sprayed the bike down with bike spray to disperse the water and that

went for a sh1t and a read of my new Manual and was pissed right off when i took the wrapping off it

said on the front FULL COLOUR - so full colour you expect full colour yeah?

nope. the only bits that are actually in full colour as model history, pre ride checks and a wiring diagram

the rest of the book looks like it has been pictured at night with nothing more than a candle as the wombles light source

lesson learnt read the small print or just unwrap one in store

Also caused a bit of a stink on the GSXR 1000 K5 / K6 group on facebook and i'm no now longer a member

i joined the group to share tips like on here as there are no decent gixxer forums im yet to find

anyway some guy joined last month of so and basically every other post was tits and ass some times load of posts in a row

now i'm not a faggot or anything nor have i anything against gays straight people what ever but i like my bikes to be about bikes, if i want i fiddler ill look else where

so i started this post basically saying that and a number of people agreed with me and said it was to much all this junk this guy was posting all day everyday

this guy was mates with the admin and my post got deleted despite most of the usurers agreeing with me and the tits and ass carried on so i sacked them off hence getting the Haynes for future information
