Saw the sun, got the RED STORM out of the garage
turned the key didn't start.
Friends turned up so left it, went back later to put it away forgot alarm was on which immediately started (least I know it works)
Left alarm going while I searched for where i'd left the key indoors & must have woken anyone in the close who was dozing!
Its on SORN anyway so couldn't go out - bugger. Must tax it this weekend

Head back from the engineering shop mounted back onto the bike, cams fitted & timing set. Next jobs are to finnish the rocker covers, grease the rear linkage then bolt it back together.

I don't know if you guys have had any issues with the clear DB screens but here in the states they have caused problems.

What happened here was if the bike is parked in the sun, some DB screens can act like a magnifying glass and focus the light right on your gauge cluster,
Which then leads to melted plastic lenses........ :Ball Kick:

So you might want to carry something with you to cover the gauges when you park the bike outside.
Loud pipes don't save lives, knowing how to ride your bike will save your life.

That will take some time and then it will overexpose the picture

Good day today. Good weather, good company and good banter. I was kept so busy I didn't get to smoke my usual amount of tabs. I'm making up for it now though

Took the baffles out to go for a ride with a mate, to collect another mate's new bike (he's finally seen that riding is the way forward, and is currently learning. We saw a really good sv650 at a damned good prize and he agreed to buy it). Had a good blast around with my mate on it down the motorway being twats..

Get back to the flat, look under my seat to find my baffles and stick 'em back in. Baffles are there, the screws however vibrated themselves loose and got lost somewhere along our route. :( Balls...

Also removed the engine from the same mates thundercat, that was a wombles ballache.
