Finally getting my finger pulled out and getting the bike back on the road, although, oddly enough I think I prefer working and mucking about with it than riding it! lol

Anywho, got myself an undertray from german ebay as I didnt like the options from powerbronze etc, this ones nice and flat with no provisions for a numberplate or indicators, looks much cleaner imo!

Fitted:

And where I plan to mount the plate, its a vinyl jobbie, see how long I last untill I get pulled eh! lol

All the panels are away getting painted after my little off last year, then its off to 01racefx for some vinyl! Also made up a new mount for the front brake reservoir, looks waaaay better, Ill get some pics later on!

where you gona mount the seat lock?

and i expect the first motorway type cop will have you as soon as he see's you with that plate lol

my mate got his car taken off him other night for having it lowered, Volvo cop got him going home from work, not speeding but noticed his car was lowered with after market alloys too

asked Wayne if he had declared them to the insurance company Wayne said no, he gave Wayne two options, one was to go to court and face chargers or the other to have the car seized, also the cop revoked its MOT on the spot citing that it was modified unsuitable for road use etc

It wasn't even that low!!only dropped it 40mm or 60mm on a standard corsa

So beware there is a mean ass Cop out in the Preston area lads

It's looking good Nora  it's a shame you have to fit a number plate at all,

Chris.

Well this was my reasoning, I did have a 7x5 plate mounted normally which is illegal, this is a 7x5 which is also illegal, I cant be done anymore for having it there over normally, an illegal plate is an illegal plate, I think! lol

To be fair though Ive made up some nice alu brackets for when I do get done for it to put the plate back to its normal position!

As for the seat lock ive mounted a pull lever under the tank, cant be seen so still looks nice and clean!

Await the "my bikes been seized" thread! lol

Posting up a word of warning, in my wisdom I decided to run a 180/60 profile rear tyre as thats all you can get Supercorsas in now, however what I didnt think of was how close the tyre would sit to the swinger with a 43t sprocket! It sits bloody close, no more than 2mm I reckoned, however as I didnt fit the chain until the morning of a trackday I was stuck so risked it!

Once I took the wheel off I realised how close I came from diaster!

Image

And another word of warning, dont ever use Power-Rite sprockets, went and bought some yesterday to fix the above issue, going from 16-43 to 15-41 to move the wheel back a bit whilst retaining my gearing, however after fitting them there was a massive tight spot in the chain! Turns out its the rear sprocket not perfectly flat, wish I had a run out gauge to measure how far off it is, but its huge! So Im now running 15-43, gonna try it first before I get another one, should be fun!

Also got my billet calipers fitted and bled up, whilst I was at it I changed my lever from a 18 ratio to a 20, levers real solid now, its awesome! lol

Oh and grabbed a carbon tank protector the other day from ebay!

looking good nora, love those billet calipers, they pop up on ebay from time to time aswell.
is there any way of tidying up the front brakeline tho?
i wouldn't have thought the tyre would foul the braced swingarm........ 8O
i'm using a talon 15t front and a supersprox 42t rear, both of them are spot on......
keep up the good work dude.....

Finally back together, spent most of the day cutting and polishing the panels after getting them painted and they look awesome! Just gotta refit the indi's etc after Ive glazed and waxed it and its for its MOT!

Since the last time Ive fitted a carbon mudguard I had lying about, a light smoke screen and went for some domed honda logos on the tank like the new cbr1000rr's have! Also got the numberplate and undertray fitted, very dodgey, we'll see how long it lasts eh! lol

Are those points I can see making there way to your licence? That plate is gonna get more attention than a virgin on a Saturday night out in Newcastle!
On a serious note I reckon you could get someone trying an "attempt to pervert the course of justice" with that plate. Be careful mate.
