I got on eventually last night Lloydie...

Delete your online character.

Delete the Gta 'system update' in your memory from the Xbox dashboard "storage".

Insert Gta, download the update again, create new character, Go!

You do have to wait quite a while (15 - 20mins for me) to get past the "waiting for other players) loading screen & then the "launching session" loading screen.

After you've done tutorial, your good to go.

yep working fine for me

Just got on .
And worked out if it don't load up instantly reboot .
Can you not ran the gates if the military base on line to get a plane ?

Yeah that's really annoying, maybe as rank increases or certain missions get done, the army base will unlock. I really hope so anyway

You got on as I got off then

The easiest way me and my friends found was find a parachute (there's one at the top of the cable cars) then just jump in from a helicopter. It was fun until we realised only one of us had actually got a parachute
