Don't bring me into this

Yeah, the youth of today are b8stard. I don't think anyone ever told half of these kids that they mean nothing and contribute next to nothing in the scale of things.. Everyone seems to think they're some kind of deity..

At least you showed the prick he's not!

And I only never get turned down because I never go out, it's not worth going to the pub for reasons like this. Used to be that all the drunk people felt the need to have a go at me for apparently being gay with long hair and whatnot (before any of you start, I had a haircut last week. And just because me and Jamie are an item, it doesn't make me gay). Drinking is much better done round a mates' with a game of Cards against Humanity or Risk (if you want to lose your friends, at least). Also cheaper by far! :D

Very true this,

Many years ago, some friends of mine made an exact replic of the risk board on an 8x4 sheet, put it under perspex and everything, then made armies out of scale model soldiers and chariots and things. Was awesome, many a good evening had round that board.

the thieving bast””d that as stolen my credit card details or cloned the card or whatever they do and then tried taking £14K from my account :x , fortunately the anti-fraud/ theft system kicked in and rejected the payment.

So now that card is cancelled and I’m awaiting a new one, I rarely use it so it’s not really a big deal but I was going to use it to buy some new bike boots today now I’ll have to wait till the new card arrives, I suppose it’s an excuse to test it make sure it works. :D

sorrry for bring you into it virt but i just couldn't resist

half my family has been or are landlords and i was brought up in the pub scene, started collecting glasses at 13 and then onto serving drinks to punters but because i wasn't afraid to get stuck in when a fight broke out i use to spend most of my time stood at the end of the bar watching for trouble...maybe why i do what i do now tbh...but back in the day it was mainly old boyfriends that clashed with new ones or the mistresses husband spotted her fck buddy and it was only fists that were used, not glasses, bottles or whatever they could put their hands on...times have changed and not for the better i believe..i don't want to drink at home or round a mates, infact i've never drank at home except for the bbq...i want to go into a pub and have quiet drink with the mrs without some pssedup dck either knocking drinks over or wanting to fight because his advances were knocked back

is that really too much to ask

Trouble in pubs is inevitable and isn’t a modern phenomenon, I’m nearly 52 so I’ve been going in pubs for longer than I care to mention and in the early years saw plenty of trouble but do you know what the older I got the less trouble I saw. The recipe of excess alcohol and several groups of late teen / early 20s lads (or indeed lasses) will generally result is some sort of fracas fact of life and nothing new.

It’s a pisser for sure to get barred for standing up to the youths in question but think how much money you’ll save not going out

Argh poor Virty
times have changed and not for the better i believe..
They certainly have changed I feel the same. Society and the world is not how it used to be. I prefer the old days where there was more honour and respect and we talked to our neighbours. Is that a sign that I'm getting old, I can almost hear my old man saying "When I was a lad...."

You've had a haircut 8O err... we didn't discuss this!! So how short is it? Can I still get enough in my hands for a good ammount of purchase?

Nothing has annoyed me today, I've got a motorcycle and the freedom to ride it anywhere... life is sweet  :biker:

Well they cut it much shorter than I requested (like every time I get a haircut. Still haven't found one decent place around the rugby area after 8 years :( ).

I dislike it, needs another inch and better layers. But meh. Inch won't take too long to grow

Ok, statement retracted!!!!!!

Last night I put a new (to me) petrol tank on & sprayed my bike with acf50... just set off for a days riding and guess what?

The bike is running on 1 cylinder on anything less than 1 quarter throttle opening

Goes like stink when i rag it, but won't tick over on both cylinders :(

Any suggestions?

Crap in the carb's or even worse Carp in the Crab's...

Clean Carbs on a low temp wash without the spin cycle & fit in-line fuel filters just in case...

Hope that helps...

I've just stripped the tank awwwf and fired it up, runs perfectly without the tank!!

So...

Ive taken the tap/diaphram thingy awwwf and the filter looks clean.

Anything else I can check on here..?

Image

Should it be easy to blow down the fuel inlet and out the two fuel outlets?

I have blown down the larger breather pipe under the tank and it's clear but the little one next to it seems difficult to get any air flow.
