Hi All
I've just bought a lovely Firestorm, I love it myself, but my missus is yet to be convinced

We have had a sofa like XJR1200 for the last 2 years so the firestorm is a bit of a shock to her

Are there any suggestions to make it a bit more comfy, I'm going to put a grabrail on first

any ideas how to raise the bars slightly or make the seat a bit better for the passenger??

Cheers for any advice :D

VFR800 bars go on with little fettling....if u ask alan(he has then on his i think or was it LSM hmmm anyway) do a search and ye shall find.

or as timbo said you can get risers.....as for the seat my missus loves it on the storm...she gets a nice view from back there and says its more comfy than previous bikes we have been on.

My advice to you is to either get the seat reshaped/covered with more padding or just condition her to the standard seat, as u said your XJR was a sofa but it wont take long for her to forget it after thumping around some twisties on the back of the storm :)

Hi Dog :D Welcome Aboard :D
So after Bar risers and the Rentec Rack
I would like to recommend Lard Sandwiches, Yep that right good old lard! Get your Missus to eat as many as she can cause the only way that back seat will get any comfier compared to the XJ is to have a little of her own personal padding to keep the pain away.

Corbin and Sargent do seats for it (expensive)

Airhawk and others do cushions and gel pads for it (cheaper)

Lard and burgers for DIY (possible heart attack)
