I've just taken delivery of my new bike. It's a fair bit lighter and faster than my old one, has a really slick gearchange, great brakes, virtually slick tyres, very quick steering and lots of lovely ally and carbon bits. I'm looking forward to taking it to France on all those empty mountain roads. Only downside is that the saddle is bit hard for long distance stuff.
Oh and as for the most important bit - it's RED!

Already got a couple of MTBs Lee. Not planning on mud-plugging though, just miles of dusty forest tracks

. Oh and I'll probably get something with an engine for those as well.

Great bike Simon and good value too. I have a Claude Butler Levant and I love it.

Its a lot less comfortable to ride than my SP1!

id say to anyone, get a pushbike and get fit.....i hit 40 this year and bought myself a mtb.....within 10 months ive lost 2 stone nearly...toned up ALL OVER no end...and a typical ride for me is 40 miles all off road with up to 6000ft of climbing...typically in the peaks/wales or lakes..saturday im off to wales..its great!!...and ive been known to do 250+ miles off road in one week!!..yes im addicted, so much so..i only ride motorbikes once a week now, sometimes once a fortnight, and thats very unlike me( ask bob)
