Hey all,
Anybody on here have a Sat Nav fitted to their Storm. Am looking at a Garmin Zumo 550 system as I regularly visit the continent but am concerned about fitting it to the bike.
Had anybody got any advice on how they have fitted their system to the Storm.
Cheers

Garmin don't have as many toys/software stuff available as TT it seems to me.
I have an 'older' than current spec TomTom 500 mounted in the clear map section of my tank bag (with self adhesive velcro to get it sitting at the right angle) and a 12 volt supply mounted on the bike too. Works a treat and got me to several destinations spot-on this year during a 750 miles round trip holiday on the 'Storm!

Hi I have a Garmin Quest fitted to my Storm, brackets supplied by Ram fit directly to brake/clutch lever whichever you want they also supply power lead and ear piece connectors 2.5 mm or 3.5 mm. You can get garminquest one for about £150 now with UK & Europe.

I don't mind getting lost, but with the Firestorms legendary tank range, getting lost with a low fuel tank is a pain in the rear fairing!!!!

Its much easier and more fun getting lost with a sat nav, I imput the final destination ,shortest route, then turn off down all the wee roads. So you always end up where you should but find some great roads on the way
Great company to , my sexy voiced sat girlie is an imaginary 6 foot blond with a 36†inside leg ,what better company could you have on the bike (for a guy)

Zumo it is then. Has anybody linked one through an AutoCom system?
Good quality sound, easy to fit etc etc
Oh and if you work for Garmin, any chance of a discount
Cheers
