THE SHOULDER

Spent yesterday in hospital. I was operated on by a PAIN Consultant. He did some "electric" nerve treatment and put some pain blocker drugs in my shoulder. Hopefully this will stop it hurting and I won't have to have a full blown operation.

One thing I will say is the SEDATIVE drugs are fantastic. Laying on the operating table one minute away with the fairies the next. I then slept for nearly 14 hours last night, Wow!!

Shoulder feels like it's been hit with a club hammer but that should settle down in a day or so! Where's those drugs!!

THE ACCIDENT CLAIM

After nearly 2 years the MIB (motor insurance beuro) have now accepted liability for the uninsured driver. I am now in court on 3/1/08 because the MIB are now arguing over the value of the claim.

Stick to your guns, don't take any offers you have suffered enough. Good luck mate.

That is really bad Paul (Fireman on a Storm), I can hardly believe it's taking so long for it to be settled :!: It makes you wonder what we pay insurance premium's for :!:

I hope your shoulder op is a success and you are pain free :!:

Good luck for the 3 January 08,

Cheers,

Chris.

FURTHER UPDATE

I got a call from my solicitor today. The MIB have made an acceptable offer for an out of court settlement.
Strange how a court case approaching seems to have focused their mind!

Thanks for your good wishes
