Recording sky help

I need help, i have a top up tv recorder but cannot record Sky movies etc onto it, any tips would be gratefully received

is it just sky movies that you cant record or any channels off sky?

It is every sky channel, i have plugged in all the leads, i just need to know where to pick up sky on the TUTV box.
