Not a fan of classical myself but I can appreciate the skill and musicianship. I've only recently gotten an acoustic having been playing eleccy for years.
This guy is one of the most amazing bassists I've ever seen - Viktor Wooten

How many guitarists do we have on here btw?

So why is two blokes playing a piece of music on one guitar that can be played by one person impressive? I grant you it sounds good but Michel Lauzière can play it on a romper suit with horns, now that's impressiveTimbo wrote:Now, by now you should know i speak my mind so dont be offended by what i am about to say.clayderman wrote:Very impressive, but I think this blokes cleverer
He is not "cleverer", he is a french knobhead with a load of bike horns sewn on his jammies, he is amusing and that is about it

Ok, instead of 2 guys on 1 guitar... How about 1 guy playing 2 guitars ??

If by "guitarist" you mean owns an instrument, can read tab and bash out a Metallica riff or two, then +1firestorm996 wrote:How many guitarists do we have on here btw?
If you mean actually play it, then just you.
Voted most likely to be found dead in park bushes following an act of autoerotic asphyxiation.
I recently stumbled across this funny New Zealand duo 'Flight of the Conchords'

I've been playing for a good few years but I'm not an obsessive or anything, I don't know any theory, play mostly stuff which would be obscure to the masses and find that quite often the simpler stuff is the most enjoyable to play. I probably have a few party pieces (don't we all) and have forgotten more stuff than I can remember how to play! But at the end of the day I just like to jam away.
Might be good to have a jam sometime on some metallica stuff, plenty of their toons need two guitars. Could even let you have a pop at the seven string

Great link Timbo!
As soon I hear that piece of music I am transported back some 38 odd years (yeah they have been odd) and remember coming home from school to watch Bob Monkhouse present 'Silent Movies'. You know, the Buster Keaton, Keystone Cops etc stuff. They always seemed to use this music. Fantastic trip back down memeory lane and by heck were those two guys good!!!!
