Just bought one of these!

To play games on when i go away for my 6 month holidays. Lots of jiggery pokery in it but the end result is that plays games to about the same quality as an Xbox 360/PS3.

Plus i can type on it, surf the net and all that other jazz.

Not the most interesting post for most but someone might appreciate it........ :roll:

Must have been expensive, laptop gaming isn't cheap.
I've been playing Call of Duty 4 lately, the online part is great!!

Call of Duty 4 came with it. They run to about 2 and a half grand with the spec i got but i found mine a little cheaper on the bay :wink:

CoD4 compares really well with the PS3 version. Can't stop playing it!

Yep a friend of mine bought a very similar model. The games run very smooth but bloody pricey for a laptop. Toys like that are needed when visiting sandy places for months on end so probably a v good buy.

Do you get Broadband in the desert?

I know the answer, the yanks get 8MB broadband delivered to every bunk, the english have an Amstrad 1512 with a 9k6 modem and a broken keyboard :roll: Shared amongst 5 regiments.
