Hi there im new to this forum and fairly new to VTR's as well. I love my bike but find the riding position a bit uncomfortable. I was just looking for advice on handle bar conversions.
Other than that im glad to be a part of V twin heaven!

Hi Wee Haggis!

I havent done the handlebar conversion myself but there are a lot of posts about it if you do a search.

4 main routes for bars.
1: fit a top yoke conversion and full handlebars (search ebay for kits)
2: fit risers (GB moto most popular)
3: fit VFR bars (the pre vtech late model 41mm ones fit)
4: get used to it (the Storm position is actualy quite comfy once you get used to it)

Welcome aboard. I found that just by moving the bars so they are a bit straighter (within the very limited adjustment possible between the lug on the clip ons and the yoke) made the wrists a lot more comfortable

Back on topic again (!) There's a thread in "Workshop" called raising the bar which covers me putting bar risers on mine last month.
