Sorry to hear that but may be time for a bit of self help kaz

My Mrs has it and a lot of foods seem to set it off

What you need to do is cut out one type of food at a time and see if there’s an improvement

She’s set off by dairy, tomatoes some wheat products and bananas
Worth a try

Sorry to hear that Kaz, but I agree that it maybe time to explore some of the "alternatives". 30 years ago the doctor told me that by the time I got to 40 I would probably have bad arthritis as I used to have joint problems. I started to take the "iron pill" down the gym and so far as I know have no obvious arthritis. Food can also make a vast difference.

All the best

Don't give up Kaz. A friend of mine has suffered for years, but in the last years she has been injecting a new drug (legal) that has worked wonders.

I'll try and find out what it is.

Don't give up Kaz..And don't take the Doc's word as final...My mother in law had all sorts of trouble. She's been seeing an Accupuncturist/Natural Herbal type person for years.
Regularly takes CalMag (Calcium Magnesium) tablets for her joints and its kept her away from the doom & gloom scenario that was given her 15-20 yrs ago.

Ouch!
Sorry to hear your bad news Kaz
I hope you manage to find some relief (other than the bottle  )
Things like this are always worst when first diagnosed don't give up kid. Instead of thinking "I can't do that anymore" Try thinking "How can I still do that" or "To what level can I still do that"
Easy words, I know, but a good positive mental attitude really does help with any kind of infirmity.

All the Best

I'm sorry too hear that Kaz :!:
A bit of a double edged sword for you really. You now know what the problem is at long last, but not something you would have wished for :!:

I also believe a positive attitude is the way forward, but that all depends how you feel about it of course. It's easy to say :!:

But rest assured there are many people in the same boat as you, which you'll find out even more now, now that you know your situation,

Chris.

Hi Kaz, sorry to hear the news, but all may not be lost as quite a lot can be done. Diet has a lot to do with arthritis the chinese for instance don't usually suffer from it because their diet is mostly fresh veg and very little red meat. I have treated a number of people for this complaint with quite good results if they can take the new diet regime. follow this link to Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_b?u ... +home+cure and get a copy of A doctors home cure for arthritis (first two books on page) If you can eat the things reccomended and NOT TOUCH any of the other foods (and drink) you will definately see an improvement. I have seen some amazing results using this method.
