Took the Storm for an MOT on Saturday passed OK (phew) on the way back scraped my boot going around a roundabout

are the footpegs particularly low on the Storm or am I getting used to it

Do you ride with your toes or centre of foot on the pegs? I have changed to toes as my alpine stars were getting ground down, the problem now is that my belly pan is taking the brunt of the damage

but only on bumpy roads when right over.

Ground clearance -the bane of my life with the Storm on track
First I fitted high level exhausts
Then I removed the hero blobs -not enough
Then I ended up getting some M&P finest pegs and rather than mount them on the floppy bracket, I bolted them straight to the footrest hanger
Voila, shorter fixed pegs and no more grounding out from them
Then I started using Supercorsas and the extra grip over 010's meant that the exhaust headers were touching down
Not a problem on the road though

I tend to ride with the peg in the boot arch, but I think I slide my foot back when cornering so that my toe is on the peg, but I can't remember where my foot was on that roundabout, I better go back and do it again
